Backflow Prevention / Cross-Connection Control

Submit backflow prevention assembly test results and installation reports to the Portland Water Bureau Cross-Connection Control Program. Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 333-061-0070 and Portland City Code 21.12 require backflow prevention assemblies on all connections that pose a cross-connection hazard to the public water supply. Assemblies must be tested annually by an Oregon-certified backflow assembly tester.
