Ceremonial / Recreational Bonfire Permit

Apply for a permit to conduct a ceremonial or recreational bonfire in Portland. Required under the Oregon Fire Code and Portland Fire Code for all open burning activities within city limits. Permits are issued by Portland Fire & Rescue (PF&R). Bonfires must comply with DEQ air quality regulations and may be subject to burn bans during high-risk fire weather conditions.
