Commercial Electrical Permit

Apply for a commercial electrical permit for electrical work in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings in Portland. This permit covers new electrical services, panel upgrades, lighting systems, fire alarm installations, generator hookups, and other commercial electrical work. Reviewed under the Oregon Electrical Specialty Code by Portland Permits & Development (PP&D). Commercial electrical work requires a licensed commercial electrical contractor. Plan review is required for most commercial electrical projects.
