Commercial Mechanical Permit

Apply for a commercial mechanical permit for HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and commercial kitchen ventilation work in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings in Portland. This permit covers rooftop HVAC units, chillers, boilers, commercial kitchen hood and exhaust systems, refrigeration systems, and other commercial mechanical equipment. Reviewed under the Oregon Mechanical Specialty Code by Portland Permits & Development (PP&D). Plan review is required for most commercial mechanical projects.
