Fabric Awning Permit

Apply for a permit to install a fabric awning on a commercial or mixed-use building in Portland. Fabric awnings extending over the public right-of-way require both a building permit and a revocable encroachment permit from PBOT. Reviewed under Portland City Code Title 32 (Signs and Related Regulations) and the Oregon Structural Specialty Code for structural attachment. Submit via Development Hub PDX (DevHub).
