Heritage Tree Work Permit

Apply for a permit to perform work on a designated Heritage Tree in Portland under Title 11 — Trees. Heritage Trees have the highest level of protection under Portland City Code. A permit from Portland Parks & Recreation Urban Forestry is required before any pruning, root cutting, chemical treatment, or other work that may affect the health or structure of a Heritage Tree. Heritage Tree removal is only approved in exceptional circumstances.
