Lead Hazard Reduction Grant

Apply for a Lead Hazard Reduction Grant to fund the identification and remediation of lead-based paint hazards in qualifying homes built before 1978. This program provides a free home evaluation and is available to homeowners and renters in Portland who have household incomes at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI). Priority is given to households with children age 5 or younger, pregnant women, and children with elevated blood lead levels. Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis.

Program Details

This program provides a FREE home evaluation for lead hazards. If lead-based paint hazards are identified, the program funds the remediation work at no cost to eligible homeowners and renters.
