Fire Department Lockbox Permit

Apply for a fire department lockbox permit in Portland. Required under the Oregon Fire Code for buildings with fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, or access control systems that may impede emergency access. Lockboxes provide Portland Fire & Rescue (PF&R) with rapid building access during emergencies. Portland Fire & Rescue uses the Knox Box system for fire department access.
