Occupant Load Posting

Apply for an occupant load posting in Portland. Required under the Oregon Fire Code for assembly occupancies, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, event venues, and other spaces where the posted occupancy load must be determined and displayed. Occupant load postings are issued by Portland Fire & Rescue (PF&R) based on the calculated occupancy of the space considering egress capacity, floor area, and use.
