Pyrotechnic / Special Effects Permit

Apply for a permit to use pyrotechnics, fireworks, or special effects in Portland. Required under the Oregon Fire Code for all indoor and outdoor pyrotechnic displays, proximate audience effects, flame effects, and theatrical special effects. Permits are issued by Portland Fire & Rescue (PF&R). Operators must hold a valid Oregon State Fire Marshal pyrotechnic operator license.
