Septic System Repair / Alteration Permit

Apply for a permit to repair, replace, or alter an existing onsite sewage disposal (septic) system in the City of Portland. Required for any modification to an existing septic system including tank replacement, drainfield repair, component upgrades, and emergency repairs. Reviewed by the Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) under Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 340-071) and Portland City Code Title 17. DEQ-certified installer required for all repair work.
