Sign Permit

Apply for a permit to install, replace, or modify a sign in the City of Portland. Required under Portland City Code Title 32 (amended by Ordinance 191959, effective March 1, 2025) for most permanent and temporary signs. Exemptions may apply for small window signs. Note: A-board/portable signs and temporary banners require sign registration, not a full permit. Application submitted via Development Hub PDX (DevHub).
