NPDES Industrial Stormwater Permit

Apply for a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) 1200-Z industrial stormwater permit through the Bureau of Environmental Services (BES). Required for industrial facilities that discharge stormwater runoff from the site to the municipal storm sewer system or directly to surface waters. Oregon DEQ administers the NPDES program under the federal Clean Water Act, and BES coordinates local compliance for Portland facilities.
