Tax Extension Request

Request an extension of time to file your Portland tax return with the Revenue Division. Extensions are available for the Portland Business License Tax, Multnomah County Business Income Tax (MCBIT), Multnomah County Preschool for All (PFA), and Metro Supportive Housing Services (SHS) taxes. An extension grants additional time to file your return but does not extend the time to pay. Estimated tax due must be paid by the original due date to avoid penalties and interest.
