Treebate — Tree Planting Utility Bill Credit

Apply for Portland's Treebate program through the Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) and receive a credit on your utility bill for planting trees on your residential property. Trees improve air quality, reduce stormwater runoff, lower energy costs, and increase property values. Credits are based on mature tree size: up to $50 for large trees, $30 for medium trees, $20 for small trees, and $10 for native edible plants.
