Welding / Hot Work Permit

Apply for a permit for welding, cutting, brazing, soldering, or other hot work operations in Portland. Required under the Oregon Fire Code for hot work performed outside of designated hot work areas or in locations where fire hazards exist. Permits are issued by Portland Fire & Rescue (PF&R). A fire watch must be maintained during and after all hot work operations.
